One of Canada's largest transportation companies is looking for Heavy Truck Technicians to join their team in the Winnipeg area. A minimum of 3 years experience as a Truck Technician at the Journeyman level is preferred, however, Apprentices at the third or fourth year of their apprenticeship who are looking to take their career to the next level will be seriously considered. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of components and systems on class 8 truck tractors. Previous experience working on Mack and Cummins engines will be considered an asset. A Journeyman Certification to perform provincial safety inspections will be given preference.

Shift:  Evening shift, 4:00pm - 2:30am (Monday - Thursday). 4 x 10 hour shifts. There is also a weekend shift which runs from 6:30am - 7:00pm (Friday - Sunday) and you work 36 hours, and get paid for 40 hours.

Compensation:  $18.00 - $25.00/hour. $1.00/hour shift premium is added on top of this wage, and benefits are offered after 3-months (standard medical, dental, prescription, life/ADD/LTD plan). Wage range may be extended depending on experience and qualifications.
