One of Canada's largest transportation companies is looking for Trailer Technicians to join their team in the Winnipeg area. A minimum of 3 years experience as a Trailer Technician at the Journeyman level is preferred, however, Apprentices at the third or fourth year of their apprenticeship are encouraged to apply. There are 3 positions available working outdoors in the yard using a service truck, and another position working on trailers in the shop . Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of components on trailers. Previous experience working on refrigerated and heated trailers will be considered an asset. A Journeyman Certification to perform provincial safety inspections is preferred, but not a requirement.

Shift:  Days, 6:00am - 4:00pm (Monday - Thursday). Evening shift, 4:00pm - 2:30am (Monday - Thursday). 4 x 10 hour shifts. There is also a weekend shift which runs from 6:30am - 7:00pm (Friday - Sunday) and you work 36 hours, and get paid for 40 hours.

Compensation:  $15.00 - $22.00/hour. $1.00/hour shift premium is added on top of this wage if you're working the afternoon shift, and if you're looking to work the weekend shift - you will be entitled to an extra $1.00/hour as well. Benefits are offered after 3-months (standard medical, dental, prescription, life/ADD/LTD plan). Wage range may be extended depending on experience and qualifications.
