User Story Mapping User story mapping is a technique popularized by Jeff Patton that allows you to see the big picture in your backlog; acts as a project plan, provides a technique for gathering scope and stories fast; supports better user story slicing, prioritization, and scoping; and helps you to build the right thing first. In this session you will find out what a user story map is and how to create one with your team.

Jon Labun is a principal consultant with Online Business Systems where he provides leadership in project management, team development , and strategic planning. He is a graduate of the University of Winnipeg and has worked in various sectors including manufacturing, logistics, agribusiness and the insurance industry. Over the last 16 years, Jon has worked alongside wonderful team members, including the team that won the 2009 PMI Project of the Year. Jon is passionate about leadership, organizational change management and the difference that great teams can make in their organizations. He is continually searching for ways to achieve a competitive advantage for his clients and has participated on customer advisory boards to help set corporate direction. In addition to his professional interests, Jon is the father of 3 boys. Their favorite activities together include fishing, camping, and playing volleyball.
